Select Markets is hiring: Video Editor in Boston

Select Markets and RedEye are looking for a part-time video editor! Select Markets was started 3 years ago and is a monthly vintage clothing market in the Boston area bringing together 4,000-8,000 people per event and working with brands like Soundcloud, Boston Globe, Redbull, and more. RedEye Boston is a monthly 21+ dance party series in Boston that was started 2 years ago and is bringing together hundreds of people per party.

We are looking for a paid part-time editor to join our team and get into the weeds with us. Someone creative, scrappy, and super driven to get as much learning experience as possible. This job will incorporate work from both companies (primarily Select) and focus on short-form content creation, marketing, and some market research.

Work Specifics

15-25 hours a week with opportunity to grow, $20/hr

Primarily remote, but will occasionally have to come in office to discuss content initiatives, along with recording content at events

Responsibilities
Both Brands:

Work on creating short-form video content ready to post for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (look at our feeds for references)

Social media marketing ideation and trend analysis.

Day-of-event content creation (filming content to be edited)

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent

Proficiency with Capcut, Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut, or other video editing software

Marketing work experience is heavily preferred

If you do not have applicable work experience, some relevant personal project experience is required

Boston-based is required

Strong written and verbal communication skills
