Create diverse character animations that enhance the gameplay experience
Develop animations from scratch or adapt mocap data for in-game animation
Collaborate with the Animation Director, animators, game designers, and programmers to understand quality objectives and gameplay intentions
Identify and report animation-related issues
Own animation features from concept to final implementation, including prototyping, iteration, integration, debugging, and polish
Estimate task durations and manage deadlines
Promote a transparent and learning culture within the team
Anticipate production and technical risks and communicate them early to relevant stakeholders
Требования

5+ Years of experience as an Animator in the video game industry
Proficiency in Maya and Unreal Engine 5
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Deep understanding of body mechanics and aesthetics
Adaptability, flexibility, and openness to change
Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
Innovative problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills

experience implementing gameplay animation directly in Unreal Engine 5, experience with Unreal Engine 5 animation layering systems and reusable animation logic, strong understanding of combat animation, responsiveness, readability, timing and gameplay feel, experience working with mocap data including clean-up, editing and adaptation for gameplay, professional experience developing action games, ARPGs or combat-heavy titles, experience working autonomously and proposing solutions without detailed direction, experience collaborating directly with Game Design and Programming to solve animation and gameplay problems, a proactive mindset and confidence to experiment, take initiative, learn from mistakes, and iterate quickly based on feedback
