Overview
Join a pioneering AI-native organization as the AI Architect —Model & Agent Design Lead, where you'll lead the strategic selection and customization of foundational models, agent loop design, and reasoning frameworks. This critical role offers the opportunity to shape cutting-edge AI solutions, working closely with senior leadership to drive innovation in estate settlement automation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and experienced engineering leader, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and passionate about leveraging advanced AI tools like LangChain, OpenAI, Claude, and more to build reliable, high-performing AI systems.

Required Skills

Deep expertise in AI/ML architecture, foundational models, and agent design

Strong experience with tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, OpenAI, Claude, or similar

Proven ability to lead complex AI projects, including model customization, agent training, and reasoning frameworks

Excellent communication skills to clarify technical concepts and collaborate across teams

Demonstrated experience in building scalable, high-performance AI systems in agile environments

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with estate settlement automation or related financial tech applications

Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure supporting AI deployments

Prior experience working in fast-paced, high-growth organizations

Preferred Education and Experience

Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields

7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or architecture, with leadership roles in innovative environments

Other Requirements

Location flexibility with a preference for San Francisco or New York City; other qualified candidates will be considered

Ability to travel occasionally as needed

Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
