Typesetter for Publishing Company in Atlanta We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our publishing company in Atlanta. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and designs in printed and electronic materials.
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month, and accommodation will be provided if needed. Biometric passport is preferred but not required.
Format text, images, and designs according to established guidelines
Use desktop publishing software to create layouts for print and digital materials
Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency
Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
Maintain project timelines and meet tight deadlines
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is a plus
Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow style guides accurately
Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Willingness to learn new software programs as needed
