The Big Phone Store is hiring: Technical SEO & AI Search Specialist in New York

We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical SEO & AI Search Specialist to take ownership of the technical side of our organic search performance across traditional search engines and AI-powered search. This is a substantial ecommerce website and this is not an entry-level SEO position. We're looking for someone who has already worked at scale, understands how complex websites behave in search and can demonstrate measurable commercial results. What success looks like Your objective is to increase qualified, commercially relevant organic traffic that contributes to enquiries, customers, transactions and revenue. Rankings, impressions and traffic are important indicators, but they are not the end goal. What you'll be responsible for
Owning and developing our technical SEO strategy
Identifying opportunities to increase qualified organic traffic and organic revenue
Conducting detailed technical SEO audits and prioritising actions
Monitoring crawling, rendering and indexation
Managing crawl efficiency
Reviewing website architecture
Identifying canonicalisation, duplication and pagination issues
Reviewing redirects and technical problems
Monitoring Core Web Vitals and website performance
Identifying JavaScript SEO issues
