Most of Aviy is self-serve. People who ask to talk to someone are usually a growing team with a specific problem - more people invoicing, more complexity, a migration they are nervous about.
Those are good conversations to have, and they go better consultatively than they do with a pitch.
The work The job:
Work inbound leads from trials and demo requests
Run discovery and tailored product demonstrations
Keep a pipeline that reflects reality rather than optimism
Close, and hand over cleanly to onboarding
Feed objections and lost-deal reasons back to product
What we are looking for Three or more years in software sales, ideally with short cycles and smaller businesses.
A consultative style - diagnose before you pitch - along with pipeline discipline, resilience, and genuine curiosity about how other people run their businesses.
Where you work This role is based in New York, with most people in two or three days a week. The rest of the company is remote, so you will not be the only person on a video call - but this particular job is better done in a room with other people, and we would rather say that plainly than discover it six months in.
We sponsor visas for it. Apply from any country: if you are the person we want, we will sponsor your work visa and cover the move - the application fees, the legal costs, and the relocation itself. Our People team runs the process with you rather than handing you a form and wishing you luck.
Pay and the rest of it $70,000-$95,000 a year, reviewed every year against the market for where you live, plus share options - everyone here owns a piece of the company.
Flexible hours, a budget for whatever laptop and desk you actually want, an annual learning budget, generous paid time off that we check people take, and paid parental leave for every parent however you become one.
