University of Wisconsin-Madison Mead Witter School of Music is seeking an Assistant Professor of Classical Double Bass. This full-time, tenure-track role leads the double bass program and teaches undergraduate and graduate students, mentoring MM and DMA candidates.
The incumbent will conduct studio classes, teach repertoire and pedagogy, recruit students, and foster an inclusive environment. The position starts August 23, 2027, with opportunities to teach chamber music or pedagogy as needed.
