AV Technician (Conferencing & Live Events) Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 days/week) Start date: 11/2/2026 Duration: 5 months Pay rate: $39.19/hour About the role This is a hybrid of day-to-day room support and event production, and the work is highly visible. Much of it supports senior leaders and external guests, so there is no second take. What you’ll do Day to day Keep conference rooms working Respond to the ServiceNow video conferencing queue Run proactive room sweeps to catch problems before they happen On event days Plan, set up, and run live and hybrid events, from leadership meetings to customer and partner sessions Partner with the Event Technology team on broadcast studio and company-wide events Who you’ll work with You’ll report to the Manager of Videoconferencing and Event Support You’ll work alongside the broader AV operations, events, and network operations teams What we’re looking for Required 5 years of experience as an AV Technician Hands-on experience with Zoom Rooms, audio boards, and AV switching The right person is Calm when something breaks in front of an audience Methodical about preventing failures in the first place Comfortable explaining to a business partner what is and isn’t possible
