Job Description
Prepares and edits complex technical documents, reports, studies, etc. inaccordance with applicable style manuals.

Independently resolves issues of format and style

Brings issues regarding content to the attention of the author forconsideration.

Coordinates and tracks the review process.

Prepares final documents for approval and release

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in English, atechnical discipline, or related field.

5 years of experience writing andediting technical documents.

Proven writing and editing skills

Preferred

DOE cleanup environmentalexperience

This positionmay require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position mayrequire reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with abackground investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an accessauthorization prior to employment, and subsequent reinvestigations may berequired.
