Creative Producer — Job Description
Creative Producer
About the Role
We’re seeking a Creative Producer for a nine-month fixed-term contract to develop and produce an innovative fiction audio experience for an upcoming original title. This is a dedicated, project-based role in which you will lead the production from early development through final delivery. At the conclusion of the contract, the completed project will be transitioned to the permanent Content team.
Reporting to the Content Innovation Lead, you’ll be a hands-on creative professional who brings compelling stories to life through emerging production methodologies and technologies. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, technical curiosity, and strong production management skills.
The position is focused on delivering a specific title that requires specialized creative production expertise throughout its development and production lifecycle. The nine-month contract encompasses the entire process, from concept development through final delivery.
About You
You’re as comfortable in a writers’ room as you are experimenting with new tools and technologies. You view technology as a creative opportunity and enjoy exploring innovative ways to tell stories. You’re equally adept at managing production schedules, tracking budgets, and coordinating complex workflows, bringing the same level of rigor to project delivery as you do to narrative development.
You’re proactive, passionate about storytelling, and excited by the opportunity to create something entirely new.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce an original fiction audio title from initial concept through final delivery within the nine-month contract period.
- Collaborate with writers, production talent, and technologists to create immersive, innovative audio storytelling experiences.
- Manage talent and production partner engagements, including offers, negotiations, and contracting.
- Partner with internal technical teams to bring creative concepts to life using emerging technologies and production capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong creator relationships, working thoughtfully with talent who have varying levels of familiarity and comfort with new technologies.
- Rapidly prototype and experiment alongside the Content Innovation team, testing creative concepts and approaches before committing to full production.
- Oversee production quality, budgets, schedules, and concurrent workstreams to ensure milestones are met within the established timeline.
- Incorporate listener research and feedback to refine and improve the experience ahead of final delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across production, marketing, and public relations to support launch readiness.
- Complete a structured handover to the permanent Content team, including final production assets, documentation, vendor relationships, and established workflows.
