Automotive Photographer wanted - Are you a professional photographer looking for a side job?

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented

Photographer

to photograph our new and pre-owned vehicle inventory for use on dealership websites and other digital advertising platforms.

The Automotive Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality interior and exterior photographs that accurately showcase each vehicle and help create an attractive, consistent online presentation of our inventory. This position works closely with dealership management and inventory personnel to ensure vehicles are photographed promptly and accurately.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Photograph the

interior and exterior of new and pre-owned vehicles

using company-provided or approved photography equipment.
Capture vehicles from multiple angles following established dealership photography standards.
Photograph key interior features, technology, seating, cargo areas, wheels, and other important vehicle details.
Ensure photographs are clear, properly framed, well-lit, and accurately represent the vehicle.
Confirm that the correct vehicle is matched to the appropriate VIN and inventory listing.
Upload photographs to the dealership's inventory management or digital merchandising system.
Maintain a consistent look and presentation across all vehicle inventory photos.
Identify vehicles that are ready to be photographed and prioritize newly arrived inventory.
Coordinate with sales, service, detail, and inventory personnel when vehicles need to be cleaned, moved, or prepared for photography.
Monitor inventory to identify vehicles that are missing photographs or require updated photos.
Maintain photography equipment and immediately report any equipment issues.
Safely move and position vehicles when necessary for photography.
Follow dealership safety procedures and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic while working on dealership lots.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous automotive photography or similar freelance experience is preferred .
Must have own camera/equipment
Basic photography skills and an understanding of lighting, angles, and composition.
Comfortable working with smartphones, digital cameras, computers, and web-based applications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple vehicles efficiently.
Ability to identify vehicle makes, models, trim levels, and basic vehicle features is helpful.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Must pass background requirements
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout dealership lots.
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach when photographing vehicle interiors and exterior details.
Ability to safely enter, exit, move, and position a variety of passenger vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks.
