Capitol Market is a 501c3 nonprofit and a true Charleston gem. Operating seven days a week at an historic 51,000-square-foot, indoor/outdoor retail space, we bring together nine year-round indoor tenants, dozens of seasonal farmers, a daily pop-up vendor program, and a robust SNAP benefits program. Our mission is simple: support small businesses, celebrate West Virginia agriculture, and tackle food insecurity head-on.
We need a high-energy storyteller and event planner to grow Capitol Market, support our vendors, and design memorable experiences that delight our visitors.
As the Director of Marketing and Events, you will own the look, feel and voice of Capitol Market, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Working with a talented team, you will lead marketing campaigns, digital communications, and event logistics.
