Jada Toys · Los Angeles, CA, USA · Remote ·

Pay:
$75,000-$85,000/yr
Job type:
Full Time

Location: Hybrid. Two days a week at our City of Industry office, remote the rest of the week

Reports to: V P Marketing

Rate: $75,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role

Jada Toys is launching a new girls-focused brand into major US retail, and this role owns its social presence from day one.

There is no existing account, no follower base, and no established voice. You will build all three. You will also be the person who keeps the brand's social output moving through a real launch calendar: product on shelf at a national retailer, an influencer agency running campaigns alongside you, and a licensor approval process that every piece of content passes through.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You set the channel plan, you make a lot of the content, you brief the people who make the rest, and you report on what it is doing for the business.

About Jada Toys: Since 1999 we have designed licensed die-cast vehicles, RC cars, action figures, and collectibles across Fast & Furious, Marvel, Sanrio, Minecraft, and more, landing at every major U.S. retailer. We are part of Simba Dickie Group, one of Europe's largest toy companies.

What You'll Do

Launch and run the brand's TikTok, Instagram, and Digital presence: handles, bios, grid aesthetic, content pillars, and a documented voice and style guide the team can carry forward

Own the content calendar and hold a consistent publishing cadence tied to product drops and the on-shelf date

Produce content yourself. Concept, shoot, and edit mobile-first video and stills, at a volume of roughly 15 to 20 pieces per week across formats

Work with Jada's in-house photographer to develop and produce content, briefing shoots and directing what you need for the channel

Brief and manage our influencer agency: review creator lists, approve concepts, hold them to dates, and make sure campaign assets get reused across owned and retail channels

Run seeding directly where it makes sense, with budget behind it

Manage community daily. Comments, DMs, and moderation, with the care a girls brand and a young audience require

Route all content through licensor approval, building far enough ahead that a 15 business day turnaround does not stall the calendar

Cut content down for Target and Walmart retail media placements

Support paid social with creative built for the format, working alongside our media partner

Report weekly on reach, engagement, creator performance, and click-through to retail, and change the plan when the data says to

What We're Looking For

3 to 5 years running social for consumer brands, in-house or agency, including at least one launch you can walk us through end to end

A reel or portfolio of owned-channel work with real numbers behind it, not just deliverables

Self-sufficient production. You shoot and edit your own work to a high standard on a phone or a small kit, and you can also write a clear brief and direct a photographer or an agency

Fluent in CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent, plus Adobe or Canva for statics

Real understanding of the girls, kids, family, or youth lifestyle space, and of the fact that on most platforms your audience includes the parent holding the credit card

Trend literacy with judgment. You know which trends fit a brand and which ones cheapen it

Comfortable using AI tools to speed up scripting, editing, and variant production without letting the work look generated

You think about what sells product, not only what performs on the feed

Comfortable on camera is a plus, not a requirement

Based in the Los Angeles area and able to be at our City of Industry office two days a week

What You'll Have

Dedicated budget for seeding, creator campaigns, and paid, with the authority to spend it

An influencer agency partner already engaged on the launch campaign

In-house photography and design support

Product samples in hand, with a named internal owner for sample logistics

Direct access to the commercial team who own the retail relationships

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days: channels live, voice and style guide documented, content calendar built back from the on-shelf date, first licensor submission in

First 90 days: cadence holding without gaps, creator campaign underway with the agency, a library of assets the retail and e-commerce teams can pull from

By launch: the brand has a visible audience and a body of content that supports sell-through at shelf, and we can see it in reach, creator performance, and click-through to retail

More Details

Two days a week on site at our City of Industry office, remote the rest of the week, with occasional days at our El Segundo showroom for shoots and product access

Occasional travel for events or shoots

All work is work for hire. Content produced for the brand, including creator content you commission, is owned by Jada with global usage rights

Strong performance and a successful launch may lead to a full-time offer
