Analyzing market conditions to identify and pursue business opportunities that are a strong match for Monteith’s key strengths and value proposition  Growing relationships with existing clients, as well as establishing new relationships with prospective clients (i.e. public and private companies, institutions, development groups, architects, engineers, etc.)Developing a pipeline of business leads for construction projects, and driving those leads through the sales funnel to secure awarded workEngaging in industry and/or community events that promote Monteith’s brand and culture (i.e. trade outreach events, industry conferences, etc.)Connecting with local trade partners to generate interest in Monteith bids for select projectsUtilizing Salesforce to internally track and communicate updates on opportunitiesCollaborating closely with internal teams to meet client/opportunity deadlines—from RFP through early-stage Preconstruction until a GMP is reachedPositively contributing to Monteith’s Triad office culture and community footprintExperience You Should HavePassion for the built environment, with the ideal candidate having an Intimate knowledge of the Triad real estate and construction marketWorking knowledge and success in building a sales pipeline, converting leads to awarded businessStrong interpersonal communication skills to connect with various types of industry personalities/peopleDrive to discover client needs and find creative solutions their toughest problemsRequired to Thrill at MonteithNo Brilliant Jerks.
