Marketing Engagement Specialist

This full-time Marketing Engagement Specialist opening is built for someone who wants real experience on both sides of the business, sales and marketing, without picking just one. You'll spend your days opening doors face‑to‑face, representing our brand at local events around Melville, and feeding what you learn in the field straight back to our Marketing team.
The Marketing Engagement Specialist keeps our pipeline full and our brand visible, introducing Jani‑King to new business prospects through in‑person visits, local events, and steady outreach, while also feeding real field insight back to our Marketing team. You’re the bridge between a first conversation and a closed deal, and between a name on a list and a face in the community.
High-Volume Prospecting: Turn a cold knock, a call, or a quick introduction into a real conversation, and eventually a booked meeting. We’ll hand you proven scripts and real training to get there.
Engage Decision-Makers: Introduce Jani‑King’s services, ask the right questions, and figure out fast whether there’s a fit.
Territory Management: Own your routes across Melville and the greater Long Island business corridor, from Garden City and Hauppauge to Hicksville, Commack, and Farmingdale, and know them better than anyone else on the team.
Marketing Collaboration: Team up with our Marketing team on messaging and campaigns, and watch the insight you bring back from the field actually shape what goes out next.
Genuine interest in marketing, branding, or business development
Proven ability to meet activity‑based goals and performance metrics
Strong communication skills with a professional, approachable style
Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience a plus
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance coverage for daily travel
Marketing Exposure: Work directly with our Marketing team, gaining real hands‑on experience in brand representation, messaging, and campaign strategy.
A Path Forward: This isn’t a dead‑end gig, strong performers can grow into outside sales, marketing, or management roles, with coaching and documented wins along the way.
