About Share Bristol and the role
Share Bristol helps local people share resources through its Library of Things. This nine-month maternity cover puts an experienced marketing all-rounder in charge of day-to-day communications, working closely with the Lead Trustee for Marketing and Communications and the wider staff and volunteer team.
Responsibilities
Plan social content and campaigns, schedule posts, respond to audiences and assess digital performance.
Create copy, images and video; coach volunteer contributors and keep content consistent with the brand.
Use templates to design posters, leaflets, signs and other materials, and coordinate printing and distribution.
Produce newsletters, blogs and press releases, maintain mailing lists and develop press and partner relationships.
Keep website content current, support improvements and organise publicity at local events, attending some events yourself.
About you
Bring significant marketing, communications and content experience, confident writing and design skills, and up-to-date digital knowledge. The pack asks for Google Analytics, Canva, content management, social and email tools, plus strong organisation and stakeholder communication. Relevant qualifications, charity marketing, journalism, digital fundraising and multimedia skills are useful. You should live locally or have strong local connections, be able to travel around Greater Bristol and have UK work rights.
