Junior Graphic Designer – Licensed Apparel

Are you creative, detail-oriented, and excited about working with some of the biggest names in entertainment? CoCo Brands is looking for a motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing team and help bring exciting licensed apparel designs to life!
At CoCo Brands, we specialize in licensed sleepwear, loungewear, and intimate apparel featuring popular brands and characters from Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., DC Comics, MGA, Cartoon Network, and more.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring designer to gain hands-on experience in the apparel industry, working on products from initial concept through final production. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and an interest in learning the technical aspects of apparel development, including tech packs and garment specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Concept Development: Create original graphics, prints, patterns, and artwork for licensed apparel. Assist in developing creative concepts that align with brand guidelines and current market trends.
Tech Pack Development: Create and update detailed apparel tech packs, including artwork placement, colorways, measurements, materials, and construction details to ensure accurate production.
Product Development: Work with the design and merchandising teams to develop new products from concept through production.
Sample Review: Review product samples for artwork accuracy, color consistency, placement, and adherence to design specifications. Communicate revisions and corrections as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with merchandising, production, and overseas manufacturers to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
File Management & Organization: Maintain organized artwork files, tech packs, product specifications, and sample comments to support product development and future production runs.
Packaging Design: Assist with packaging artwork and packaging tech packs as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required; knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.
Strong graphic design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
An interest in licensed apparel, character graphics, and product development.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Willingness to learn apparel construction, technical design, and manufacturing processes.
Experience creating tech packs or working with apparel manufacturers is a plus, but not required.
Experience with packaging design is a plus.
