MGM is hiring: Web Designer in Grand Island

This is a senior Web Designer position for the person who automated their own job once and immediately wanted to do it again. The reward structure favors doers: $97,000 - $142,000 upfront, real technology ownership, and a MGM team pulling the same direction.
Key Responsibilities

Own the service-minded Ruby on Rails subsystem that the rest of MGM quietly depends on
Decode the undocumented Rust service nobody at MGM remembers writing
Pair Rust and Tailwind CSS in a pipeline MGM can extend without your help later
Catch the Nginx race conditions that only surface under Grand Island peak traffic
Profile and refactor legacy code to reduce technical debt over time
Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
Shave milliseconds off the technology hot path that MGM users feel every click
Write clean, well-tested code that scales with MGM's growing user base
What You'll Bring

Proven REST API results, ideally seasoned in Grand Island, NE
Comfort being the newest person in the room and the loudest in the notes
The kind of listening that makes the other person feel heard
Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
Recognized for our delightfully-weird work in technology, MGM continues to grow its presence across NE. Here, ownership means you're empowered to fix what's broken without waiting for permission.
The offer rewards both ends, $97,000 - $142,000 for your Rust today and mentorship for the senior leader you become tomorrow.
Our team checks new Web Designer applications every single business day.
