If you're excited to be part of a winning team, KRGV is a great place to grow your career.This position is Part TimeResponsibilities:Position will edit stories for daily newscastsOperate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effectsEstablish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creationImprove video and sound quality using video softwareEdit video to include music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the projectWill perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is preferredProfessional mastery of video and audio editing software and programsAbility to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneouslyApplicant must have experience with non-linear editing and videotape production and editing of news storiesCreative experience in news video editingExperience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitionsExcellent communication skills are requiredAbility to collaborate well with other creative professionalsBilingual in both English and Spanish is preferredKRGV (ABC) is located in the warm and beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
