Senior Media Strategist

We are hiring a Senior Consultant/Strategist (Media) to join a leading media advisory and consulting business in New York.
This is an opportunity for an experienced media professional with a strong consulting or advisory background to partner with major brands and help transform how they approach media, marketing, and business operations.
A deep understanding of the media landscape is essential. We're looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and exceptional client leadership to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
What You\'ll Be Doing Lead complex media consulting engagements from initial discovery through strategic recommendations and final delivery.
Advise senior marketing and media stakeholders on optimizing media strategies, investments, operating models, and performance.
Manage multiple projects and delivery teams, ensuring exceptional quality and client satisfaction.
Translate data, market intelligence, and industry trends into actionable strategic recommendations.
Present insights and recommendations confidently to senior-level client stakeholders.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities to deliver additional value.
Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and commercial performance.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of the wider team.
What We\'re Looking For 8+ years of relevant experience , with a strong foundation in media, advertising, or marketing.
Demonstrated consulting or strategic advisory experience, ideally within a media consultancy, agency, or related advisory environment.
Deep understanding of the media ecosystem, including media strategy, planning, buying, measurement, and evolving industry trends.
Proven experience leading complex client engagements and delivering strategic recommendations.
Strong senior stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex information into clear business recommendations.
Experience managing projects end-to-end while leading and developing teams.
A commercially minded approach with a genuine interest in helping clients improve their media and marketing effectiveness.
