Technical Writer/TypistLocation: Dallas, TX (On-site) | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7 AM–4 PMPay: $52,000 – $54,000/year + performance bonusesBenefits: Full health/dental/vision, company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with matchType: Full-TimeKey Skill: Microsoft Word Expert (Assessment required)What You'll DoFormat & Edit: Prepare technical specifications, proposals, and RFQs in MS Word, maintaining strict document formatting and numbering standards.Manage Files: Organize electronic spec files and assist with SpecLink and Bluebeam PDF document preparation (training provided).Handle Contracts: Prepare standard AIA sub-consultant contracts with Senior Management and track client insurance/contract requirements.Coordinate: Work directly with project teams to finalize and issue accurate document revisions on tight deadlines.What We're Looking ForWord Expertise: Deep mastery of MS Word (styles, multilevel lists, section breaks, and formatting troubleshooting).Detail-Oriented: Exceptional focus on spacing, consistency, and document standards.Reliable & Organized: Ability to balance competing deadlines and keep files structured.Nice to HaveBackground with engineering specs, proposals, SpecLink, or Bluebeam software.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $26.00All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
