Loop: Design for Social Good is a Toronto-based design and growth studio founded in 2012. It works with nonprofits and social-impact organisations to help them explain their work, build trust, and gain support through websites, donation experiences, and digital communications. The team is small (2–10 people) and fully remote.
The role The Senior Web Designer takes ownership of website projects from early concepts through developer handoff and launch. You would report to the Head of Growth and collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, and account managers. What you would do Design responsive websites and landing pages in Figma that support donations, access to services, and audience engagement.
Build reusable components and design systems, and prepare clear developer handoffs.
Create original graphics, campaign visuals, and brand applications for websites and digital communications.
Present design recommendations, work through client feedback, and review finished websites for quality.
Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT Codex or Claude Design) as part of your design process to explore ideas and refine content, applying your own creative judgment to the results.
What they are looking for A strong portfolio of website design work showing thoughtful mobile layouts, typography, imagery, and brand application, including nonprofit projects.
2–3 years of agency or studio experience delivering client websites, managing feedback, and working within project scope and timelines.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, including components, responsive layouts, and prototyping.
Practical experience using AI tools in a design workflow.
Clear communication, sound design judgment, and the ability to own work while collaborating with others.
A suitable home workspace within the City of Toronto and reliable internet.
Bonus: background in graphic design, branding, or visual identity; illustration or motion design skills; experience designing donation journeys or fundraising campaigns; experience applying accessibility best practices.
Working arrangements The role is fully remote but requires applicants to live within the City of Toronto. Hours are flexible with regular daily overlap with the team.
Pay and benefits Company-funded Health Care Spending Account (subject to eligibility and coverage terms).
