About Hike
Hike is a fast-growing marketplace agency backed by Sportique, a global commerce platform with 17+ years of experience scaling, investing in, and acquiring premium brands.
We help established brands build profitable, sustainable businesses across Amazon and other marketplaces through strategy, operations, advertising, content, catalog management, analytics, and performance-driven growth.
We work with premium brands across beauty, wellness, home, outdoor, technology, CPG, fashion, and lifestyle.
Our team is collaborative, highly accountable, and focused on doing exceptional work for brands we genuinely believe in.
We're looking for a Brand Manager who wants more than simply managing accounts — someone who wants to take real ownership, become deeply involved in the businesses they oversee, and grow with Hike over the long term.
The Role
As a Brand Manager at Hike, you'll act as the business owner for a portfolio of premium brands on Amazon.
You'll be the primary strategic partner for your clients, responsible for understanding their businesses, identifying opportunities and risks, developing the strategy, and leading our internal teams to execute against it.
You'll work closely with specialists across Advertising, SEO, Content, Creative, Catalog, Merchandising, and Operations — but you'll own the bigger picture.
This role is ideal for someone who:
Takes ownership naturally
Has a strong point of view
Moves quickly and follows through
Enjoys solving problems
Communicates confidently with clients
Thinks proactively about growth
Wants more responsibility as they prove themselves
What You'll Own
Own the overall health, growth, and performance of your assigned brands
Develop and execute marketplace growth strategies
Identify opportunities proactively rather than waiting for clients to ask
Lead client meetings with clear recommendations and next steps
Build trusted relationships with founders, executives, and ecommerce teams
Coordinate internal specialists across Advertising, SEO, Content, Creative, Catalog, and Operations
Translate strategy into clear priorities and actionable projects
Review and QA internal deliverables before they reach the client
Monitor revenue, profitability, TACoS, inventory health, catalog performance, and other core KPIs
Manage product launches, listing optimization, promotions, and merchandising initiatives
Identify and help resolve suppression, compliance, Buy Box, inventory, variation, and catalog issues
Stay current on Amazon policies, tools, and marketplace trends
Help brands evaluate expansion opportunities across international Amazon marketplaces and other relevant channels
What We're Looking For
3–5+ years of hands-on Amazon or marketplace experience
Strong experience with Amazon Seller Central
Experience managing or owning meaningful Amazon businesses
Ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, and stakeholders
Strong understanding of Amazon best practices across catalog, content, advertising, operations, and profitability
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical ability
High attention to detail
Strong organizational and project-management skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience with Asana or similar project-management platforms
Agency experience is valuable, but not required.
We're equally interested in strong brand-side, ecommerce, marketplace, and Amazon-native operators.
You'll Thrive at Hike If...
You don't need to be micromanaged
You have a natural sense of urgency
You're curious and enjoy understanding how businesses work
You proactively identify problems and opportunities
You're comfortable making recommendations and having a point of view
You hold yourself accountable for outcomes
You care deeply about the quality of your work
You want to grow with the company over the long term
Why Hike
Work with thoughtful, premium brands from around the world
Own meaningful businesses rather than one narrow function
Work closely with experienced operators and company leadership
Collaborate with dedicated specialists across Advertising, SEO, Content, Creative, Catalog, and Operations
Join a growing company where strong performance creates meaningful career opportunities
Help shape how Hike operates as we continue to scale
401(k) retirement plan with company matching
Remote-first environment
Performance-based bonus opportunities
Employee discount
