Our client is hiring for a Digital Designer to join the team in New York! This is a temporary contract role. Hours are full-time.
Responsibilities: .
- Design and execute engaging digital creative across e-commerce/site, email, paid advertising, and social media
- Create thoughtful, user-focused UX/UI designs and digital experiences
- Develop layouts, components, and design systems in Figma
- Translate seasonal campaigns and brand direction into cohesive digital executions across multiple channels
- Partner with creative, copy, marketing, e-commerce, and development teams to bring concepts from ideation through final execution
- Ensure designs maintain a consistent visual identity while considering usability, functionality, and conversion
- Adapt creative across various formats, platforms, and screen sizes while maintaining a high level of design quality
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Incorporate feedback from creative and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining consistency with the brand
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional digital design experience
- Strong proficiency in Figma, with a strong background in UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated digital design across web, email, paid media, and/or social
- Previous experience working for a fashion, apparel, retail, or lifestyle brand strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of digital design best practices, responsive design, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to balance strong brand storytelling with an intuitive, customer-focused digital experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently across multiple projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with print design is a plus
