UI Desktop Developer

Summary of Position:

The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team is responsible for providing Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity/Securities Lending and Credit businesses with reliable and time-sensitive IT solutions to meet their needs. The team is involved in the different phases of application development: user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, within an agile framework. We are looking for a seasoned cross-platforms (Web/Desktop) UI developer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a seamless, intuitive user interface that enhances collaboration betwee sales and traders in the Rates/FX domain. This role requires a deep understanding of both web and desktop development, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for web and desktop platforms that facilitate collaboration between sales and traders
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including sales teams, traders, and other developers, to gather and understand requirements
  • Implement responsive and interactive UI elements using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and desktop frameworks (Tauri, .NET, Kotlin Multiplatform, etc.)
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize the application for performance and scalability
  • Be part of the UX/UI design to provide the best the user experience
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the application to ensure functionality and usability
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve the application's performance and user experience
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a UI Developer with a strong portfolio of cross-platform projects
  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like SvelteKit, React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with desktop development frameworks like Tauri, .NET (Blazor/MAUI), Kotlin Multiplatform, or similar
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience in the financial sector, particularly with Rates/FX, is a plus
