We are seeking an experienced
UI/UX Engineer
to join our team on a part-time, remote basis to work on enhancing our client's
Order Provider Portal . In this role, you will conduct a gap analysis of the current portal, compare its functionality and user experience with competitors, and design a future state that optimizes the user journey.
This is a key role where you will shape the next generation of the client's order portal, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly experience for healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a
gap analysis
to evaluate the
current state
of the Provider Portal and design the
future state . Perform
competitive analysis
to understand industry standards and identify improvement opportunities. Develop
user journey maps , identifying pain points and areas for enhancement. Design
wireframes
and
prototypes
to visualize new features and user flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure designs align with technical requirements and business objectives. Ensure the portal is optimized for ease of use and aligns with user needs and expectations. Participate in feedback loops and iterative design processes. Requirements:
3+ years of experience
in UI/UX design, particularly for web applications. Proven experience in
gap analysis
(current vs. future state). Strong background in
user journey mapping
and identifying key pain points. Expertise in designing
wireframes
and creating
interactive prototypes . Familiarity with tools such as
Figma ,
Sketch ,
InVision , or similar. Experience in
competitive benchmarking
and
comparison analysis . Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. US-based, available for
remote
work. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in
healthcare
or
provider portal
applications. Ability to manage feedback and iterate quickly on designs.
