Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated students to help support the University Support Services group within the University Information Technology department. Opportunities include programming with web technologies, including but not limited to Java, React, Angular, Kotlin, JavaScript, etc. Students at this level work under the direction of UIT staff. This position provides IT support to the general University community for mission critical application services. Improve your software engineering skill set while building out end-to-end features.

Responsibilities
Working with a small team composed of individuals of varying backgrounds (UX designers, developers, Quality Assurance, and Business Analysts), as part of a team to develop or maintain web applications, the successful developer will have the ability to work on small to large projects from analysis through development, testing, QA, and delivery.
The incumbent will work on various technical activities such as software development, testing, and documentation for various web applications.

Working knowledge of SQL , API

Proficiency in UNIX and Windows environments along with basic desktop application suites.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to code detailed, functional applications from mockups/specs in collaboration with designers
