THE ROLE

We are seeking an

Accounting Manager

to join our Artist Management division to support multiple artist management companies with the day-to-day accounting and finance support. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain relationships with other field accountants. Prepare month-end close entries, supporting financial schedules, and reconciliations. In addition, the accounting manager will also be responsible for preparing variance analysis, year-end budgets, and updating monthly forecasts for his/her artist management companies.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOManage and review senior accountants monthly journal entries and reconciliationsCommunicate and work with artist management companies and artist managers. Provide financial and operational supportRecord monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaid amortizationsPrepare and review various month end balance sheet and income statement support schedulesPrepare and review monthly rebills and settle intercompany balancesPrepare calculations for participations/commission settlementsPrepare and review annual budgets and maintain forecast updates for respective artist management companiesAssist with internal and external audit requestsOther duties as assigned by management

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGBachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CPA eligibility a plus5+ years of accounting experienceProficient in MS ExcelOracle BPC experience a plusExcellent communication skills (both written and oral)Multi-task orientedStrong analytical skillsStrong organization skills
