Fanatics Betting & Gaming is looking for a Social Media Creative based in New York for our growing Marketing team. As a Creative on the Social Media team, you will be responsible for developing and executing compelling daily content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more in ways that showcase our brand personality and grow our audiences online. These channels are a critical landscape for reaching sports superfans of all kinds, and you will be responsible for developing a steady drip of "internet candy" that resonates with them. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your creativity, passion for sports, and digital marketing skills to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty. Candidates with agency experience and a proven track record of working across multiple brands are strongly preferred. A background in copywriting is also key to success in this role. This role will report into the Director, Social Creative and is Hybrid out of our NYC office.

What You'll Do
  • Concept, script, direct, shoot, edit and produce "made for social" videos through native storytelling across Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and more.
  • Take a leading role in brainstorming, pitching and producing social assets and franchises, demonstrating subject matter expertise to create content that's on-brand, on-trend and audience-first.
  • Participate in long-lead planning and the maintenance of the team's content calendar, continuously contributing content approaches against the sporting and cultural calendar.
  • Participate in daily standups to plan reactive content creation to capitalize on breaking news and viral moments of the day.
  • Partner with both internal and external teams to develop social video strategies that support events, campaigns, and other business priorities, and that present our brand in the best possible light.
  • Analyze video performance data in order to understand how to improve results, then proactively put those insights into action
  • Regularly surface inspiration by staying up to date with the latest trends in social media, using them to continuously explore new techniques and editing styles to push the boundaries of our storytelling.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience building social-first content for brands, either agency or brand-side, with a portfolio of successful work that demonstrates your ability to create content that attracts audiences online.
  • Experience in an agency environment is a strong plus-especially where you've had to pivot across diverse brand voices, campaign goals, and creative formats.
  • Strong understanding of the sports industry, with a deep understanding of 1-2 leagues minimum.
    • Bonus: Knowledge and experience in the sports betting and Real Gaming Money sector. You innately understand this category, what the community wants and values.
  • Experience working with highly regulated brands (e.g. Alcohol, Tobacco, Financial Services, etc.) and knowing how to creatively problem solve around this.
  • A voracious social media consumer that is aware of the latest trends and excited to take advantage of them in brand content.
  • Solid understanding of social media copywriting and video editing principles and best practices, using mobile editing tools such as CapCut, TikTok Studio.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a project from greenlight to execution, including documentation of plans in presentation decks.
  • Highly creative, proactive, and adaptable energy, with the ability to navigate through ambiguity to push for new, innovative solutions
  • An excellent collaborator who can build trust and relationships within large organizations.
  • Ability to apply performance data and insights to optimize content to achieve KPIs
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various events, offsite and team meetings.


The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program.

*Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $78,000 to $100,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
