An industry-leading technology company, Alarm.com is seeking an inspired and hardworking individual to join our Creative Services team as Video Production Specialist. This individual will work directly with the team of Video Producers and Visual Designers to fulfill the audiovisual needs of various Alarm.com departments. These videos will introduce new products and services, explain installation and configuration procedures, present user testimonials and recruit future employees. Additionally, the Video Production Specialist will shoot and edit training sessions, presentations and communications for internal and external use.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up on-location video productions emphasizing proper lighting and sound design, occasionally by yourself
- Provide video production support for a range of multimedia requests by filming and editing digital video, including motion graphics
- Communicate across a diverse set of teams to identify project requirements, production plans and schedules
- Work collaboratively with other talented (and very fun!) videographers and designers
- Maintain a high attention to detail with a sensitivity to corporate messaging and branding
- Bring creativity, problem solving and great communication skills to manage multiple dependent projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-5 years video production experience
- Operates cine & DSLR cameras similar to Sony FX6 or Sony FX3
- Edits footage for various platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Animates motion graphics using Adobe After Effects
- Understands various audio-video formats and best practices for media conversion
- Possesses excellent communication skills, online and in-person

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong cinematographic eye
- Photography experience
- Experience on-set with actors
- Utilizes a green screen
- Creates content using additional Adobe programs: Illustrator, Photoshop & Audition
- Bonus: 3D graphics experience
