clearAvenue is hiring: UI Developer Computer/Software Seaside, California in Cal

UI Developer is responsible for building high-quality front-end features for the company and its associated sites and platform. The UI Developer works closely with product managers, UX designers, software developers, and testers to achieve this outcome within an agile software development framework. It is the UI Developer’s responsibility to deliver and maintain global styles, plus web and accessibility standards across various projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Create UI story cards within product-oriented Agile teams
2. Manage time and meet deadlines with quality deliverables
3. Ensure UI Standards compliance
4. Leave code in a better state than you found it
5. Provide Thought Leadership for the latest technologies, trends, and standards
6. Actively seek and suggest better ways of doing things
7. Review requirements and articulate/propose alternate solutions to application architecture
8. Troubleshoot production UI issues
9. Web application security
10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements:

1. Experienced in agile methodology
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Single page application development with Angular + Bootstrap
4. Browser-side performance considerations
5. Web standards, usability, and accessibility (Section 508 compliance)
6. Preferred experience in Spring MVC-based RESTful API development
7. Preferred experience in unit testing Angular applications and Spring MVC controllers
8. Preferred experience in responsive web design
9. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation
10. Must be a US Citizen

Preferred minimum DoD Public Trust
