Job Title: Structural Designer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with over three years of experience who are ready to contribute to a variety of projects and assist in mentoring entry-level staff. The successful candidate will help alleviate the workload of our engineers by taking charge of design and modeling tasks.
Responsibilities

Mentor entry-level staff and support team leaders.

Work on a diverse range of projects, providing innovative structural design solutions.

Utilize Revit and BIM360 to manage and execute project designs.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.

Participate in client interactions, site visits, and construction meetings.

Communicate effectively to coordinate project schedules and deliverables.
Essential Skills
-
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in structural design.

Proficiency in Revit and structural engineering principles.

Strong in structural analysis and drafting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in BIM360 or high-level Revit usage.

An associate's degree in architecture with a focus on structural design is preferred.

Capability to manage and mentor junior team members.
Work Environment
The role is based in St. Paul/Minneapolis in a recently updated office conveniently located near public transportation and the light rail. The work environment is team-oriented, requiring excellent communication skills. The dress code is business professional or business casual. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility in start times once trained, ensuring effective communication with project managers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
