Description

As the Social Media Strategist, you will lead the development and execution of compelling marketing strategies across all mediums that align with Ally Medical ERs mission and values. You will be the voice of our brand on social platforms and act as the liaison between Ally Medical, media, influencers, and community partners. Your goal is to drive engagement, brand visibility, and community trust through strategic storytelling, creative content, and data-driven campaigns.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and create engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts.
  2. Implement social media and communication campaigns aligned with marketing strategies.
  3. Develop and execute viral campaigns, including content ideation, production, and editing.
  4. Schedule content and manage posting via Sprout Social using a content calendar.
  5. Track campaign performance, provide monthly reports, and identify growth opportunities.
  6. Create and manage Meta ad campaigns, optimizing for engagement and ROI.
  7. Generate original text, image, and video content for social media.
  8. Respond to comments and community queries promptly.
  9. Build relationships with community stakeholders and support community-focused initiatives.
  10. Collaborate with local organizations for co-branded content and campaigns.
  11. Assist Brand Ambassadors with managing contacts for giveaways during events.
  12. Produce SEO-friendly blog content on health topics, community stories, and events.
  13. Update the website with news and blog posts regularly.
  14. Coordinate and execute photo and video shoots for content development.
  15. Write and design monthly newsletters to inform the community about initiatives and health tips.
  16. Oversee content creation across news channels and platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
  17. Manage email marketing efforts.


Required Skills and Abilities

  • Expertise in major social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of support tools like Slack, Zoho CRM, Sprout Social, and Podium.
  • Problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Stay updated with digital trends and program needs.
  • Experience launching community initiatives and managing online forums.
  • Ability to track relevant community metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and engagement metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED; Degree in Communications or Marketing preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a community manager.
  • Proven success in social media, PR, or digital marketing campaigns, especially in healthcare.
  • Experience managing multi-platform social media strategies and creating viral content.
  • Proficiency with tools like Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally to locations and events.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and lift 15 pounds.
  • Compliance with privacy, security, and data protection policies.
  • Participation in annual security awareness training.
