You will be required to work onsite within one of our Frisco, TX offices, 2 to 3 days per week.
A Marketing Copywriter presence is essential to the growth and awareness of Careington and its brands, as well as programs for our clients. To effectively build brand awareness and consumer loyalty, this presence must expand and be integrated with our overall corporate advertising and marketing initiatives.
As a Marketing Copywriter at Careington, you will be an essential member of a growing, in-house marketing team. This position works under the Director of Marketing and reports to the Marketing Content Manager. The copywriter works with all marketing team members on a variety of projects that support Careington's family of companies and brands. In this role, you will be challenged daily to create, innovate, collaborate, learn and grow.
Role & Responsibilities
Write copy to support B2B and B2C communication efforts (solicitation, email, website, newsletter, direct mail, video)Work closely with the print and digital design teams to create and implement the overall look and feel of marketing and communications materialsDevelop unique, new conceptsCreate copy templates for ongoing use in consumer communicationsEstablish strong relationships across departments and develop an understanding of client needs, the consumer experience, marketing strategy, and operational capabilities
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of professional copywriting experienceAbility to utilize different tones of voice and tailor messaging to specific audiences, objectives, and marketing piecesDirect-to-consumer writing experience desiredKnowledge of the benefits industry is a plusBrand strategy and implementation support experience is preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsGreat attention to detailTeam player who also thrives as a self-starterExperience using Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and PowerPointAble to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high-quality work and projecting an enthusiastic, passionate and positive attitude
Education
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, advertising, or other applicable field of study
