Senior Designer

About the roleWe're looking for a Senior Designer for our US Wealth marketing team. In this role, you will lead marketing design activities and produce design artifacts to support our go-to-market solutions and strategies for our Wealth business. The role reports to the design director for Wealth (US).

The design organization is made up of several disciplines—visual, UX, communications, content, and research—united to help each other and the whole company grow. We're always seeking designers who are motivated, driven to deliver user-centered outcomes, and are equally committed to craft and compassion.Job responsibilities:Designing a wide variety of digital and print content including one-pagers, landing pages, case studies, videos and animations, social media, blog posts, email marketing, RFPs, and sales collateralOwning all parts of the design process from discovery, definition, development, and deliveryDemonstrating core design skills—especially concerning typography, composition, information hierarchy, and data visualization—to create delightful, engaging experiences that reinforce the Morningstar brandSolving challenging information and communication design problems and being able to present multiple concepts for consideration, with sound rationaleDemonstrates significant experience designing marketing materials for print, digital, social, and motion expressions for software, web, and/or digital productsExecutes design solutions through multiple channels such as print, social, email, webinar, presentations, websites, and multimediaCreates in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, and Mac OSQualifications :Completed a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Communication Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering/Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceAbility to communicate complex situations clearly and proactivelyAbility to provide art direction and feedback to other designers, and to receive and incorporate feedback gracefullyCollaborative, curious, and self-motivatedNice to have :Experience in financeUnderstanding of web analytics, SEO, and content managementFamiliarity with HTML and CSS basicsExperience with project management software, like Asana and JiraHow to apply:Please include a portfolio of work you're most proud of, so you can tell stories about your experience and impact.
