The Impact You Will Make This role offers the unique opportunity to drive a rapidly growing offering at BPI and directly engage with major client projects.In this role, you’ll:
Shape the future of our convergent TV offering. Consumption habits continue to shift towards streaming media, but linear TV remains critical for many – and ultimately budgets should be determined with an audience-first, media agnostic lens. You’ll help drive the strategic and tactical approach across the agency for a single video offering that spans digital and traditional mediaDrive media strategy and planning work for clients across channels. Working in close coordination with our Client Service, Insights, and Creative teams, you’ll develop media plans to hit client KPIs, work with internal buyers and external vendors to place media, and rigorously optimize for outcomesWhat The Day-to-Day Looks Like
Serve as a subject matter expert for internal + external clients, developing both thought leadership and training materialWork with senior agency leadership to shape our positioning in the convergent TV marketplace, along with technology and data investmentsCreate media strategies + plans for traditional and digital media by analyzing audience consumption habits. Lead media campaigns for clients from concept to executionDevelop pricing and investment strategies for BPI and individual clients, including rate card and upfront negotiationsRequirements
8-12 years experience in paid media. Deep experience with local buying strongly preferredStrong relationships with stations, broadcasters, and tech platforms. You know who to call for the latest pricing intel, and are a go-to person for vendors to get feedback on new offeringsKnowledge of traditional and digital ad tech stacks. You can jump between Nielsen ratings and programmatic inventory forecasts and have a strong opinion on the quality of different ACR datasetsAbility to communicate with technical buyers but translate strategy and tactics into a clear ROI for senior marketing clientsIntellectually curious with a strong sense of data intuition and critical thinking. You think in first principles and are able to spot discrepancies in a data set from a mile awayA product-focused mindset.
