Job Purpose:
Responsible for the operation, strategic direction, and leadership of the bank's marketing efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
1.
Directs and coordinates all bank and subsidiary marketing strategic plans and campaigns, community events and communications activities to support lending and deposit strategies.
2.
Serves as chief communication and public relations officers responsible for disseminating all pertinent internal and external information, including employee announcements, press releases and media advisories.
3.
Builds and preserves the company brand and image, including managing reputational risk, monitoring competition, and maintaining awareness of and compliance with industry regulations.
4.
Negotiates and manages all marketing-related contracts and acts as the bank liaison with contracted third-party vendors in delivery of corresponding services.
5.
Develops and manages advertising and promotional activities across various media outlets, including print, radio, television, and direct mail, driven by market condition and opportunity.
6.
Designs all bank and subsidiary literature, including advertisements, billboards, collateral/brochures, fliers, forms, business cards, and internal and external signage.
7.
Develops investor presentations and other collateral for bank analysts, as needed.
8.
Develops and enforces internal advertising policy and brand standards manual.
9.
Oversees the company's (internal) intranet site.
10.
Manages $800,000+ marketing budget and oversees all requests for contributions and sponsorships from community organizations.
11.
Manages and develops all digital and social media marketing, and electronic communication efforts
12.
Attend all BSA training (at least annual) offered through the bank. More frequent and/or specific training may be required, depending on job responsibilities. Perform job responsibilities to ensure the bank's compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures, which include detecting potential suspicious activity and reporting such activity to the BSA Officer and may include gathering and entering data into systems for monitoring and reporting.
Note: Incumbent may be asked to perform other non-essential duties as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business or Marketing. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
5 to 7 years of experience in the marketing field and proficiency in computer software packages (i.e., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
