Our client, a reputable and well-respected tech startup company, is seeking a

Media & Public Relations Coordinator

to help establish a stronger social media presence and build a better relationship with their consumers. The Media & Public Relations Coordinator must be a well rounded, ambitious, and organized person who is seeking to grow and expand alongside our client.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $24/hr

Position Overview:

The Media & Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for not only administrative tasks for their team, but also for keeping up-to-date on social and press events and creating media and PR content for the company. The Media & Public Relations Coordinator is a crucial member of the company and helps create positive perceptions of their clients.

Responsibilities of the Media & Public Relations Coordinator:

Perform administrative duties such as faxing, copying, and emailingProofread and edit releases and media contentTrack media metrics and social media presence of clients coordinate and deliver email campaignsConsistently help brainstorm new ideas for awareness

Qualifications for the Media & Public Relations Coordinator:

Demonstrate advanced customer service and communication skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and take initiativeAdvanced research skillsProficiency in CRM and database software

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major like Journalism, PR, Communications etc. is required
