Responsibilities:Peraton has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Unified Communications (UC) Service Owner Lead to provide contractor management, direction, administration, and leadership of the execution of their respective sites requirements for the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) in support of United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The UC Service Owner Lead will be responsible for assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing SITEC 3 EOM technical efforts, coordinating with the USSOCOM TPOC, and managing the overall sites performance.

The UC Service Owner Lead needs to be self-motivated and required to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally. The UC Service Owner Lead must have good management and communications skills to interact and coordinate effectively interfacing with both internal and external executive leadership team. The UC Service Owner Lead is responsible for managing technical issues and business processes; managing and responding to Government issues, concerns, and comments; and alerting the Government proactively to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues. The UC Service Owner Lead will be the main interface between the USSOCOM end customers, the SITEC 3 EOM contractor, component Deputy Program Managers, and the component J6 management staff and provide input into the management activities within their functional area. The UC Service Owner Lead will manage the Contractor and subcontractor staff, ensure staff development and mentor as applicable as well as work with third-party vendors applicable to their site as needed. The UC Service Owner Lead will manage teams of contract support at multiple locations. The UC Service Owner Lead is required to organize, direct, and manage all support functions involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks. Must be able to review task plans and deliverable items, manage schedules in line with financial budget. The UC Service Owner Lead will ensure all personnel in his/her responsibility receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and preparing project status reports as required.

Typical responsibilities include:

Manages and oversees technical personnel operating, maintaining, and defending call control infrastructures and plan, engineer, coordinate, document, and execute changes, upgrades, or installations of VVoIP authorized by the Government. Manages and monitors the operation of call control devices to ensure proper operation and proactively troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate the root cause of problems that arise. Recommends courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational status.

Manages and oversees personnel who operates, maintains, and defends MCUs as well as plan, engineer, coordinate, document, and execute changes, upgrades, or installations. Proactively monitor the operation of MCU VTC sessions on behalf of end users to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoots, analyzes, and isolates the root cause of problems that arise during a live VTC. Recommends courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational status.

Manages and oversees personnel who operates, maintains, and defends streaming video/full motion infrastructures, and plan, engineer, coordinate, document, and execute changes, upgrades, or installations authorized by the Government. Manages, monitors, and ensures the proper operation and proactively troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate the root cause of problems that arise. Recommends courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational status.

Manages and oversees staff who operate, maintain, and defend IM&P as well as plan, engineer, coordinate, document, and execute changes, upgrades, or installations authorized by the Government. Proactively monitor the operation of IM&P sessions and chatrooms on behalf of end users to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate the root cause of problems that arise. Recommends courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational status.

Manages and oversees personnel who operate, maintain, and implement collaboration platforms and plan, engineer, coordinate, document, and execute changes, upgrades, or installations authorized by the Government. Conduct continuous quality assurance monitoring of conferencing platforms and sessions to ensure effective and efficient end user collaborative experience. Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate the root cause of problems that arise. Recommends courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational status.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:BS 12-15, Ms 10-13, PhD 10+.

Target Salary Range:$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
