Peraton is seeking a Sattelite Communications (SATCOM) Lead (SME) for a position on the upcoming Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. The purpose of SITEC-3 is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the world 24 x 7 x 365.* Positions are contingent on contract award *** Salary Range is based on geographical location **Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize network performance and/or related network problems• Install Operating System firmware, software, patches, and upgrades, etc.• Maintain network access; document, analyze and troubleshoot systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance• Provide training and support for tactical radio, SATCOM and communications systems• Provision and maintain mobile devices (NIPR, SIPR and Gray), maintain and troubleshoot government network and AV equipment• Monitor the operation of network and SATCOM terminals to optimize performance while taking actions as appropriate to prevent or limit hardware or software failure• Terminate, test and troubleshoot secure/non-secure voice, video, data and radio frequency cable infrastructure• Troubleshoot wireless carrier network services such as voice, data, Short MessageService (SMS), Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS), data tethering, mobile hot spot,management of carrier mobile telephone numbers between devices, etc.• Assist the Spectrum Managers in assessing potential interference issues by taking field measurements and comply with work around procedures to minimize interference effects• Plan and execute Out-of-Band-Key Transfer (OOBKT) and Over-The-Air Transfer (OTAT) for remote rekey of enterprise encryptors on multiple networks• Schedule VTC sessions in VTC bridges, debug the interoperation of VTC endpoints, set up and troubleshoot AV equipment (displays, microphones, sound boards etc.)• Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to meet the needs of the client:Location:MacDill AFB, FL#SITEC2023Q

Required qulifications:$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.E
