This includes building matrixed design teams from Google’s internal design and external design services partners/providers, facilitating the creation of a shared plan for the execution, and oversight of construction administration services provided by the external design team in support of construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building construction and/or design, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.What you’ll doFacilitate planning and kickoff workshops with internal & external stakeholders;Facilitate design reviews in partnership with external partners;Facilitate large scale workshops as necessary;Author scopes of work for contracts and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders;Issue and administer contracts;Define and track deliverables from various parties;Track of cost, schedule, progress and scope;Provide health reporting on cost, schedule, scope and progress;Build optimal design teams from matrixed internal stakeholders and the strategic procurement of external partners;Change management for project scope and design contracts;Facilitate technical decisions in-line with project needs;Coordinate design activities with procurement and construction;Provide clear and transparent communication with all internal stakeholder and external partners; andEnsure the issuance of engineering information to the right party, at the right time, in the right formatWhat you’ll needBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related fieldProfessional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA, or equivalent) is strongly preferredPrior experience with data center design and/or construction preferred ○ Examples of design and/or construction of acceptable non-data center projects: healthcare (hospitals), large commercial (high rise), laboratory, manufacturing facilities (fabs), high power (power plants).7+ years of experience in design and/or construction project managementStrong understanding of construction principles and practicesExperience managing and coordinating between teamsExperience in the preparation of project plans, specificationsExperience drafting scopes of workExperience of government regulationsExperience in managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhy CBRE?FORTUNE’s Most Admired Real Estate Company in 2023 and 4 of last 5 years!Forbes A top company for diversity and women in 2022Forbes Named one of the best large employers in AmericaCBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Center Design Execution Senior Project Manager position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Data Center Design Execution Senior Project Manager position is $175,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
