B2B Learning Specialist

The goal of the B2B Learning Specialist is to lay the foundation for success for AUSA B2B Sales Professionals by providing them the necessary operational, technical, and soft skills required to start their new role with confidence and enthusiasm; decreasing the learning curve and increasing success from day one of delivery to the business.  

The AUSA B2B Learning Specialist will provide operational and technical expertise at an exceptional level for audiences to include, B2B Inside Sales [Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, eComm], SMB Direct Sales, Enterprise Sales, Agent/Channel Partner Sales, Sales Operations and Sales Enablement, and develop mastery level knowledge in all B2B products, services, sales tools, sales order process, order entry and support tools, sales policies, procedures and best practices.

In addition to facilitating training, a portion of the B2B Learning Specialist's role will be spent fine-tuning curriculum in collaboration with their partners on the B2B Learning team, Sales Operations and Enablement teams and the business stakeholders to ensure learning remains relevant. The B2B Learning Specialist must be skilled in utilizing various instructional techniques and formats such as in- person and distance learning, simulations, team activities, group discussion, role-playing, videos and lectures along with leading the training initiatives and special projects.

This role will be responsible for facilitating new and ongoing learning. This role will report to the Director of B2B Training and Development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and facilitate B2B new-hire onboarding and ongoing training for B2B Inside Sales [Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, eComm], SMB Direct Sales, Enterprise Sales, Agent/Channel Partner Sales, Sales Operations and Sales Enablement.
  • Provide operational and technical expertise at an exceptional level for audiences to include, , B2B Inside Sales [Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, eComm], SMB Direct Sales, Enterprise Sales, Agent/Channel Partner Sales, Sales Operations and Sales Enablement,
  • Develop mastery level knowledge in all B2B products, services, sales order entry and B2B call center tools, B2B sales policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Provides feedback and ideas for improving and developing resources and materials for training, including workbooks, manuals, job aids, quizzes, assessments and blended learning
  • Assist in the development of learning programs and blended learning approaches to enhance and optimize learning and development
  • Work with B2B sales operations and B2B strategy and other partnered leaders in assessing training needs for continued course curriculum creation and improvement
  • Utilize various instructional techniques and formats such as simulations, team activities, group discussion, role-playing, videos and lectures along with leading the training initiatives and special projects.
  • Deliver instruction in most effective modality, including face-to-face and virtual classroom to effectively transfer knowledge so our employees can successfully apply learned concepts to their assigned roles within Altice USA.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience delivering learning sessions, including live group presentations and virtual classes using web-conferencing tools.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Education preferred, minimum of 60 College credits required or military experience or technical/trade school certification. For internal candidates, the minimum education requirement for college is strongly preferred, but not required depending on relevant Altice USA work experience.
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct Needs Analyses with business leaders to ensure business objectives are being met
  • Experience delivering and managing multi-channel training classroom, webinar and self-paced learning required.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience using LMS systems
  • Telecommunications business acumen
  • Ability to grasp new subject matter quickly, ability to ask the right questions to gain deep comprehension of information to breakdown complexities into simple and easy to understand formats
  • Team player that can foster collaboration and build consensus across multiple constituencies
  • Results oriented with strong administrative and process skills, flexibility and control in a constant and accelerating changing working environment.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Social Media forums and tools knowledge
  • Ability to handle classroom set up (virtual or actual).
  • Ability to multitask (teach, read chats, take notes etc.) and be comfortable while working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high energy environment.
  • Must have exceptional client service approach focusing on professionalism and responsibility.
  • Must possess excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to travel to various office locations
