Responsibilities

The Media Manager is the client-side paid media expert who will be a key contributor to the development, implementation, and optimization of paid channels including Video (TV, OTT/CTV, and OLV), Audio (Spot Radio, Streaming Audio), Sponsorships and more. They will utilize their strong understanding of media planning fundamentals, project management skills, attention to detail, and inquisitiveness to inform the best way to grow the Altice brands, products, and services.

Description:

Develop, execute, and evaluate acquisition and brand media strategies in conjunction with agency partners; guiding strategy, implementation, and optimization and ensuring proper delivery of business objectives through paid media. Focus will be on Video (TV, OTT/CTV, and OLV), Audio (Spot Radio, Streaming Audio), Sponsorships channels.

  • Manage trafficking duties for video, audio, and sponsorship efforts conveying strategy into actionable plans for agency and vendor partners.
  • Execute key media programs by developing and updating status documents, leading meetings and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with agency and internal partners to ensure timely accurate delivery of weekly reports (e.g. flowcharts, offer summaries, plan deliveries, clearance reports, budgets, and pacing reports).
  • Contribute to weekly status, trafficking, reporting, and coordination calls with internal partners and media agencies.
  • Analyze internal, agency partner, and vendor reports to gain insights and implement optimizations that drive more effective and efficient paid media plans.
  • Assist in key media measurement initiatives including Media Mix Modeling and Multi-Touch Attribution by sharing channel level data to key partners in a timely manner.
  • Manage Senior Leadership requests and set expectations with professionalism, balancing workload with agency to effectively deliver on tasks and projects
  • Maintain relationships with key media partners through coordinating regular meetings, briefings, and contract management
  • Establish, execute, measure, and report on channel level tests to drive media effectiveness.
  • Act as liaison to the marketing, creative, local and offer teams, coordinating creative trafficking activities, ensuring campaigns and offers are launched on time, and establishing processes for effective creative rotation & performance management
  • Stay informed of industry and media channel trends providing POVs to the team, including senior management, on learnings and opportunities that impact business.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in media planning and strategy with heavy emphasis on Video (TV, OTT/CTV, and OLV), Audio (Spot Radio, Streaming Audio), Sponsorships channels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset, good knowledge of data hygiene and structure
  • Visual data storyteller - familiar with midsize data manipulation and data pivot/visualization tools (online dashboards, Tableau etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (comfort with pivot tables, experience VBA and macros a plus) and PowerPoint
  • Collaborative attitude when working in a matrixed organization
  • Strong work ethic
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving
  • Media agency experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or relevant work experience
