The Regional Media Manager is the client-side expert on regional media and marketing at Altice. This role supports our regional media and event efforts in the local markets across our service footprint and aligns to a centralized media & marketing strategy but also adopts regional focus for each individual element they manage. The individual is an expert on our local markets and understand the consumers and environment across each. He/she is able to leverage that knowledge to connect with our constituents in each region to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with media team leadership to build and carry out a centralized media & marketing strategy across the Altice footprint and tailor that strategy to each region we operate in to ensure it is relevant by market
  • Act as a local market expert, gathering, maintaining, and synthesizing information about our local markets to ensure media & marketing strategy is informed based on local expertise
  • Negotiate marketing partnerships with various media companies and local organizations that touch our markets to maximize value for the Altice media team, including but not limited to local media companies, not for profit, universities, athletic organizations, and others
  • Support local events and sponsorships by managing activation across all elements, including creative assets, event collateral, and media assets
  • Evaluate regional media plans consisting of (but not limited to) out of home, print, digital, radio, events, and sponsorships to ensure they meet strategic goals, maximize value, ladder up to objectives, and fit their respective market
  • Collaborate with media agencies to develop regionally focused media plans and direct the activities of the agencies to maximize value for Altice
  • Synthesize information related to regional strategy and media activation to Altice leadership
  • Negotiate and maintain contracts
  • Maintain records of all local media efforts, including status trackers, summary presentations, performance recaps, etc.
  • Manage performance tracking and optimization of regional media elements & compile weekly results presentation for senior management
  • Develop and maintain evaluation scorecards for regional media tactics and enforce strict evaluation and negotiation criteria for all considered partnerships
  • Act as liaison to the marketing and creative teams, coordinating creative trafficking activities, ensuring campaigns are launched on time, and establishing process associated with effective asset management and delivery


Position Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in media planning dealing with regional media and/or experience in event marketing
  • Proven track record building successful local media & marketing strategies that have driven results for the business
  • Ability to work with data to rationalize media and marketing strategy through analysis, and also to storytell about the impact of our strategies on the Altice business
  • Has experience in event management and has had direct ownership or lead responsibilities over event related projects
  • Proficiency with excel, powerpoint, word, Google tools
  • Ability to merchandise and rationalize strategies using verbal and written communication, including communication directed towards senior leadership
  • Ability to juggle numerous partner and vendor relationships at the same time and act as a central point of strategy and direction for all parties
  • Collaborative attitude when working in a matrix organization where roles and responsibilities are not always clearly defined
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Flexible and able to travel to events and sponsorship sites as needed
