This position requires a dynamic and motivated Attendee Relations Specialist to prospect, nurture and develop new attendee clients and build relationships. A true “closer”, the individual will be experienced in sales while utilizing professional phone, email, and other outreach tactics to call on upper-level decision-makers.

Headquartered in Torrance, CA, Bobit associates work remotely from home. Bobit is open to employing new associates in (only) the following states/areas:
AL, AZ, CA (except San Francisco), CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MI, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, OR, TN, TX, WI

Job Pay Info:
- HOURLY
(eligible for overtime pay based on location)
- $21.65 to $26.45 per hour
(depending on experience)


Responsibilities:

  • Use superior customer service and follow-up skills to develop and nurture professional relations with attendee community
  • Manage relationships with existing attendees through year-round outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) to obtain feedback following events and secure future attendee confirmations
  • Ability to transform questions and information from attendee community into actionable responses/feedback
  • Reach out to attendee prospects on LinkedIn, etc. from targeted lists
  • Go beyond targeted lists provided and seek out additional untapped attendee possibilities – source and communicate (phone, LinkedIn, email)
  • Travel to events as assigned by management
  • Other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 to 5 years telemarketing/inside sales experience with high-close success rate – ideally on b2b events
  • Proven track record at assertively researching and qualifying prospective attendees
  • Able to work with large organizations and be successful at identifying multiple opportunities
  • Able to effectively manage customer contacts and registration flow (proven by experience)
  • Able to ensure status meetings are effective & provide timely feedback/reports to Senior Events Marketing Manager
  • Assertive self-starter who meets deadlines and follows schedules
  • Excellent professional communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Problem-solving with a "systems" and efficiency approach
  • Must be highly proficient in MSOffice Suite (Outlook & Excel), LinkedIn sourcing
  • Continue to meet training requirements as assigned
  • Ability to travel to events as required
