Marketing Associate

Are you a creative, collaborative and experienced marketing professional with an interest in learning and education? We're looking for a Marketing Associate within our Academic division to market textbooks and other resources across a variety of subject areas to help support adoption by lecturers at universities around the world.

You'll report into the Marketing Manager, Higher Education, and will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our products and services in an area of key focus for the company.

The role requires you to work closely with the Higher Education sales team, helping to contribute market expertise and coordinate marketing activities supporting adoptions of print and digital products globally. Your day-to-day role will be varied and includes the full marketing mix from social media, email campaigns, and creating multimedia promotional materials.

You will take a global lead on key titles within specific subjects and develop marketing content, plans, and resources for use by sales colleagues. Close collaboration with colleagues and authors around the world will be a central part of this role.

About you:

You will be an experienced marketer e.g., Marketing Co-ordinator, looking to take the next step in your career.

You should have a solid understanding of marketing principles and be capable of implementing targeted and measurable marketing campaigns, from the planning and creative stages through to launch and reporting.

We are looking for a confident communicator, capable of working effectively with numerous teams across the business including those based in international offices. You will have experience of working closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure effective collaboration on launch campaigns for key products or services.

You are analytical and solutions-oriented and understand the principles of market research to inform new product development. You are driven to put the needs of the customer at the heart of the business.

A commercial background would be advantageous and experience with Salesforce CRMs and digital products would be useful, but not essential. You should be committed to working as part of a small and collaborative team and able to adapt to quickly evolving market requirements.
