Salary: Our Commitment to Fair Pay: At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. Salary ranges for union positions are determined by collective bargaining agreement with the NewsGuild of New York.

As a Project Manager at CR, you’ll report to the Director, Program Management while supporting CR’s Brand Licensing team. This team is responsible for licensing CR’s unique, high value product ratings, reviews and recommendations to manufacturers and retailers (e-commerce, in-store). Our objective is to help consumers make key product and service decisions, when and where they need guidance most.
Under our CRFlex program, this is a hybrid position that is eligible for remote work.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
CR Brand Licensing is our newest and fastest growing product, and working on the team feels a lot like working at a startup -we’re small, nimble and highly collaborative but, you’ll also have the stability of working for an established, highly respected, nonprofit brand.
As a Project Manager at CR, you’ll report to the Director, Program Management while supporting CR’s Brand Licensing team. This team is responsible for licensing CR’s unique, high value product ratings, reviews and recommendations to manufacturers and retailers (e-commerce, in-store). Our objective is to help consumers make key product and service decisions, when and where they need guidance most.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
Your experience establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies will help the Brand Licensing meet their objectives to generate new revenue streams, while also broadening CR’s reach among new and more diverse audiences. In partnership with the Director, Program Management you will manage key project initiatives in order to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to quality standards and meet customer expectations. This will include developing, managing and tracking project plans, leading project scrums, managing key projects, enlisting support of internal and external resources and resolving issues as needed.

- You have a degree in a relevant field. You have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- You have proven Project Management experience. You have at least 7-years of related work experience with at least 4 years managing projects in multiple technologies and functions.

- You thrive in a collaborative environment. You have experience working in a matrixed organization that relies on cross-functional collaboration and input.
