Product Marketing Manager, Brand Licensing

Consumer Reports, Yonkers, NY USA

Consumer Reports is an independent, nonprofit organization

Duration: Full-Time

Brand Licensing is CR’s newest and fastest growing product line, helping consumers make key product and service decisions, when and where they need guidance most.

As a Product Marketing Manager on this team, you’ll report to the General Manager, Brand Licensing. In this position, you’ll drive the marketing and communications strategy for our brand and content licensing program, including the execution of marketing plans designed to drive awareness and consideration for our new and unique products to manufacturers and retailers.

If you’re energized by the idea of creating and iterating in a small, growing, and highly collaborative environment (much like a start-up) but want the stability of doing so for an established, highly respected, non-profit brand, this is a position with your name on it!

Under our CRFlex program, this position is eligible for remote work.

How You'll Make An Impact:

You’ll oversee the marketing and communications strategy of our licensed content program to drive both B2B and B2C awareness, engagement and revenue growth for our licensed products. These products help make unique product and service information more accessible to consumers across their shopping journey while also guiding manufacturers towards creating products that are safer, reliable and more equitable.

As a marketing manager, you will manage external agencies and partner with internal stakeholders to support the discovery of new, licensed products and help define and execute campaigns. This includes product positioning, strategic messaging and campaign creative development. You’ll also help lead campaign budgeting, testing and measurement to optimize for cost, quality of customer, high engagement, and brand loyalty.

You’ll Be Highly Rated If:

  • You’re an experienced b2b product or growth marketer. You have 4+-years of upper funnel marketing experience for licensed products with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • You’ve created impactful B2b and/or b2c campaigns before that involved the use of audience targeting and segmentation
  • Multitasking is your superpower. Your project management skills keep you and your partners on task and on budget.

You’ll Be Our Top Pick If:

  • You have an appetite for successful experimentation. You regularly ideate, assess and deliver new concepts, strategies and ideas for growing new products.
  • You drive the collaborative processes. You are always looking for ways to improve experiences and processes in order to forge strong working partnerships across the organization.
