Trainer, Photography and Videography

• Photo and video capture strategies using digital cameras, gimbals, and other accessories 

• Photo and video capture strategies using drones and other aerial imaging technology 

• Post-processing fundamentals and advanced techniques 

• Optimizing workflows and file management 

• New trends in photography and cinematography 

  HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. 4 DAYS IN OFFICE, 1 DAY WORK FROM HOME. RELOCATION TO RICHMOND, VA REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create effective training curricula leveraging in-person, virtual, and on-demand instruction strategies 

• Deliver technical and business training programs to team members at all levels 

• Work with internal and external subject matter experts (SME) to create and deliver select training modules 

• Organize regional training sessions involving key team members 

• Collect feedback from training participants in order to improve impact on future sessions  

• Monitor effectiveness of training modules using individual and group results 

• Work with customers to calibrate specific video needs 

• Coordinate with vendors to integrate new technologies into workflows 

• Develop and monitor training budget  

• Stay attuned to photography and videography trends including new hardware and software technologies impacting the market and influencing consumer behavior 

• Ability to travel globally 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in photography, cinematography or similar 

• 8+ years professional experience as a photographer and videographer 

• 5+ years professional experience in post-processing; high-level proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects 

• Proven photography and cinematography skills using various camera systems including a drone* 

• Photography and videography experience with drones (UAV, UAS)* 

• Current FAA part 107 certification 

• A strong presence in front of a classroom including the ability to manage a classroom of adult students 

• Self-starter with proven track record of taking ownership of projects  

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environments  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Superior expertise in PowerPoint 

• Experience with both Mac, PC, and mobile operating systems
