As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling subscriptions and other online advertising products. Your clients will range from small independent agents/landlords to potentially larger firms with more complex portfolios and needs. You will focus predominantly on new business however, you will also grow your revenue from accounts once you have won them. This role is office based. You will learn consultative selling skills, as well as account management techniques to grow accounts over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using our knowledge and experience of success, we will support you with a framework of goals and objectives that will enable you to achieve your monthly revenue goals.

  • Achieve monthly revenue goal through closing deals.
  • Successfully prospect new clients, educating them on the value of the product.
  • With medium and long-term mindset, build relationships and sell to some of the largest players in Spain and global real estate.
  • Build relationships with multiple senior people within these organisations in order to advance sales.
  • Be an expert on the market backdrop and competitor behaviour so you can engage in high value conservations with clients, work towards solutions for them and effectively articulating the value generated from advertising on Belbex in regular client service meetings.
  • Educate clients on the value of the product through face-to-face demonstrations.
  • Your job will be Madrid-centric with some travel and will occasionally involve hosting and attending industry events.
  • Whilst some smaller clients will be within your remit, this is not a rapid-fire, small ticket sales job with instant gratification.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in commercial real estate or years of enterprise sales experience in web, marketplaces / listing services, newspaper, or magazine advertising sales.

  • A record of experience in a corporate, professional environment, working to activity and financial metrics.

  • Demonstrate that you have maintained and grown clients over the medium and long-term, providing excellent service and comfort with sales cycles which can run 3-12 months+.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and objection handling skills are a given.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • A knowledge of commercial real estate or asset management is advantageous. If not, you will have a desire to learn and a genuine interest in the trends and market backdrop – this essential to converse with top fund managers and brokers. We love commercial property and are interested in what makes properties a good investment - from small shopping centres to giant skyscrapers.
  • Property portal or marketplaces experience would also be advantageous.
  • Love building relationships with clients and helping them problem-solve.
  • Ability to navigate a large organisation – who is the decision-maker, the influencers, the blockers etc? How do I align them?.
  • Comfortable working to metrics.
